During my recent trip to Panglao, I had the pleasure of staying at Alona Gecko Inn. As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of a comfortable place to rest during transit, and this hotel served that purpose perfectly. The location of the hotel was very convenient, with the nearest airport just 15 km away. This made it extremely easy for me to catch my early morning flight without any hassle.

The only minor drawback I found during my stay was the thickness of the blanket provided. While the room itself was clean and cozy, the blanket could have been a bit thicker for added warmth.

The location was favourable - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were affable, tried to make the stay a fine experience.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my child, had a good stay. The idea to include an electric kettle and a fridge in the a double room was nice. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, which was great. Also, location was particularly good, within walking distance of Tarsier Boutique...

The room was spacious with a private safe, a refrigerator, and coffee and tea making facilities.

A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Very-very nice and amiable staff and favourable location adjacent to the beach and many restaurants and shops and so many coffee shops, fast food, bar and restos.

Location: the hotel was short walk to many restaurants and shops around, Alona beach, restaurants and bars, and so many coffee shops. We could drink something at Outback Bar & Grill, located 1 mi away.

We got a room with a walk-in shower. The hotel's location was good in the centre.

Our stay at Alona Gecko Inn was fantastic. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from Alona Beach and all the shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small terrace where we enjoyed relaxing in the evenings. The fridge in the room was a useful addition. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure our needs were met throughout our stay. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the uncomfortable pillow and the damp-smelling towels, we still had a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and clean, comfortable rooms.

With our children in tow, we had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located inn near Alona Beach. The staff provided free beach towels, which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy the sun and sand. Our youngest child, who is under 6 years old, particularly loved building sandcastles and splashing in the shallow waters. The inn's proximity to the beach allowed us to spend quality family time together, creating unforgettable memories.

For families with children, my wife says that having a small play area or kid-friendly amenities within the inn would have been a great addition.

Situated just 15 km away from the nearest airport, it offered a hassle-free commute to catch my next flight. the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, making my short stay pleasant and comfortable.

The noise level in the surrounding area was quite high, especially during the late hours of the night.

The location near Alona beach, well-maintained facilities, spacious rooms, great shower, serene atmosphere, accommodating staff.

Great location near the beach, comfortable rooms with amenities, and an opportunity to explore Bohol. The option to rent beach towels was a stroke of genius!

Oh, how I adored being constantly approached by persistent street vendors offering their services. Such a joy!

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and secure during my stay at this charming inn. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a small terrace that was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The location was excellent, just a short walk from Alona Beach, and close to a variety of food and retail options. The well-landscaped grounds added a nice touch to the overall ambiance of the hotel.

It felt like a home away from home, with no complaints at all.

The room was spacious and clean and located within walking distance to popular shopping and dining areas. The hot water in the shower was a plus and the fan on the terrace was a nice touch to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

We had some issues with the intermittent wifi connection and the deposit required at check-in was unexpected. there were quite a few rules posted in the room and bathroom, which made it feel a bit too formal and business-like.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a central but quiet location. The hotel was very clean and had great facilities, including hot water. There were numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance, making it very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.
